"Omg! They're actually fighting and killing and stuff!"
"Yep."
"Did they just talk about sex?! They were talking about sex!"
"Yeah."
"She just cut off his head! I thought this was going to be a little kid's movie! Whoa!"
This is the commentary given by a girl who graduated top of her class and wants to make documentaries for the BBC. Lulz.
Any who she loved it, though now wants to dress me up as Wondy for Halloween. XP
Kim Possible?
I was going to do a music video for the Wonder Woman movie to make it seem more gay than it is and I somehow ended up doing this instead. Well, if kigo has anything to say I suppose it's kind of close to my goal? ;p
Has a few offish parts though overal I'm happy with it.
*goes back to looking through songs to use*

I think I'm done with her aside from maybe shortening the bracer away from her wrist, though any advice would be loved, but the room is still a mess and looking kind of boring.

It was pretty good, I suppose, though I'm still not sure that Kerri Russell was the best choice to voice Diana. Her voice makes Diana seem young, which is appropriate for the movie/timeframe, though feels lacking.
That said, let's get to the review...
To sum it up it's an entertaining movie which I will be forcing others I know to watch. Some of it could have used a good deal of improvement though it wasn't an overly facepalm inducing thing.
Anywho, I have an interview for Bushe Gardens tomorrow, though I'm not sure it'd be a good fit even if I did get it due to the drive. I also did some looking into information about joining the Air Force(ideally). Even spoke with my mother, who always told me her children won't be joining up, and she said she supports it and that if she didn't have me when she did she would have joined up. I still want to pursue a career in comics and art though for the immediate(re: 4 year) future I'm beginning to think this would be good. It'd at least give me some stability that my life currently lacks as well as other skills that could help me later on. Yes, there are some aspects that I don't find quite right for me(not being 100% open about my sexuality, possibly dealing with non-vegan options in training(is it weird to focus on that?), not being in school for now, putting some goals on the back burner for starters). Idk... I still have a lot to think over and look into.
Life woe aside, the Wonder Woman animated movie comes out tomorrow! Still wary though slightly excited.
ETA: Eep, I just remembered another thing to consider about joining the military. One of my former co-workers, who was also in the miltary at the time, told me that when he enlisted that they made him remove ALL of his piercings no matter if they could be covered or not. Is it weird that some other things might not be complete deal breakers but if that's true then I wouldn't even consider it anymore. *loves my work clothes-friendly bits of metal*

After a lot of fuss I finally found the serial number I needed to install Corel.
Bad news..

Not sure I'm liking the colors I threw on this to celebrate... I mean it's how I intended it to be but the scheme feels off, especially around the obi on down.
ETA: Also, wtf is with her skintone and I think I messed around with her eyes too much. Blah.
DCU women in kimonos...

Due out in June 2009.
At first glance I like it though closer inspection shows the suit to be literally painted on and the pose very weird. Why are her hands like that? Why is her neck so long? This was a picture that just did not translate well into a figure it seems. Since these tend to run a bit higher in price I nitpick at them more than normal figures. Meh. I don't know... I've got really mixed feelings on it.
Secondly, I randomly realised I never read the last page of the new issue of Wonder Woman. Now that I have, I can honestly say the whole repetition of the word 'children' kind of creeped me out. Though that might just be my personal issues speaking there.
In looking up info for the DC Universe Classic Series 2 Harley Quinn figure, or more specifically where in the hell I can find one. It occured to me that Series 4 comes out this month and I have no clue what figures are in it. I may have freaked out just a bit when I saw...
Look at what I got today...
Now at first glance you might think 'okay, that's kind of cool' though press the button to make the light come on and...
*joy*
While the thought of it happening excites me to no end, Keri Russell's voice isn't cutting it to me. Maybe it'll change when it actually comes out, though from just watching the little preview/insider thing on the Gotham Knight DVD I can't say I'm as thrilled as I was by the inital mention of it.
It probably doesn't help that her voice reminds me of the magical girl from the Unicorns vs. Narwhals animation.
I got a bit carried away, I just love it all so much...
While I missed out on buying it yesterday due to class, project work, ect, today I went out and bought it the moment the store was open. ZOMG, it frickin' rocks. It sucks that I wasn't able to see it earlier but who cares, I've seen it now and it rules. ^.^
My ornament for the tree this year.

Hmmm... I can't seem to find my comics from last week, this worries me. I have one place I haven't looked yet so let's hope they're there. In the meantime let's go over this past week.
