Lol, whut.

Thailand seems to have about one more English channel than China, at my cousin's at least, though less of a selection in that all but ESPN are movie channels. On that note, I was skimming the other night and suddenly found myself looking at what appeared to be someone in a Green Lantern costume. After watching for a few moments I realized what it was...

So the other night, I watched the 1997 Live-Action Justice League TV/movie, which just happened to be playing on TV in Thailand. Still as cheesy as I remembered though something about it playing here, a couple times, amuses me more than it should.

I was talking about this while watching the JSA episode on Smallville and comparing it that pile of Ugh.

It's cheesy, silly, and loads of fun. I love it XD

Although it does feel like they wrote the characters then tried to match them with popular DC names of the time.

Like Guy as a smooth talker instead of using Hal. Barry being a joker who can't find a job instead of Wally.

It would've been weird seeing this as a full TV series considering the costumes and powers budget.

Yeah, it's cheesy but I certainly wouldn't call it the worst thing in the world. But I definitely agree about how the characters seemed to be trying to act like someone else under a different name. I mean the actor who played Guy even looked closer to Hal.
