Iron Man
YAY! I finally saw it, last night. I was easily the best superhero movie I have ever seen.
NICK FURY! MOTHERFUCKING NICK FURY! Bloody good set up for the other movies scheduled in the future(Avengers movie in 2011!). I found it amusing how out of all the people who stuck around to see the part after the credits apparently only half of us got who he was and the implications behind it all.
Backing up.... I loved the suit. It was gorgeous and the way they set it up to move was beyond words. Simply brilliant. Add that to the escape scene with the v.1 suit and the village scene with the first major fight with the 'final' suit and it was a pretty flawless execution. Spot on.
The only part that I was really iffy on was the press conference. Sure I guess his coming right out and saying 'I am Iron Man' worked with Movie!Stark though even my friend who I dragged to see it(and loved it) agreed it was a pretty weak scene.
Eitherway I gotta say it was a definate 12 out of 10 in the ratings. ;p
