Well... today I have my fifth job interview. As always I feel confident, I stopped getting worried after the first one. Hopefully that confidence will actually land me a job this time, especially since it's at an arts & crafts store(art student working in such a place = craziness, no?) and because I'm really beginning to worry if I can survive much longer without one...

Though enough of that woe. Thursday I finally finished my first piece of all digital art, my Febuary MGC entry. So here's a ridiculous preview...

Was the interview for A.C. Moore? I was just there today and noticed they were hiring. I think the newer one is hiring too, but I'm not sure if it's open today.

But anywho, how's it goin? I'm working at Lowe's now. You should stop by and pay me a visit. (Lowe's is also hiring for two locations.) I miss seeing you around. ;.;

And the picture made me chuckle =3

Yep, it was. Not sure if I got it since it was five seconds and a 'oops, where doing hiring for that position NEXT week. we'll call you back.' Bloody waste of time. Oi.

Life's alright, job woes aside. How's things been with on your end?
Visit? Sure, which Lowe's? Granted I'm generally trying to avoid places I might spend money at the moment(hardware store = parts = *grin*) but *shrug*.

Things are okay. I've only been working a Lowe's for about a month and I already want to quit. I hate standing still for three hours doing nothing, I have a freaky old man stalking and sexual harassing me, they take about a hundred bucks from my paycheck, I think they miscalculated my hours, and I dislike almost all of my head cashiers. Blah. I've been thinking about applying to A.C. Moore (they weren't hiring or something when I was looking for a job). I don't mind being a cashier, but I want to be able to do something else around the store when I'm not ringing up customers. *sigh*

Other than that, my fiance, his brother, and I are steadily making costumes and such. We're planning to attend Anime Mid-Atlantic, Anime USA, and Nekocon this year. =3

That sounds like your average job to me. lol.

Cool. I'll probably be at NekoCon pending finances since some of my group are getting a room. Beyond that I'll probably just be going to Gathering, since I already pre-registered for it. I'd be going to more but I just don't have the money for it. Xp

What costumes are you making? I've gotten semi-out of the whole anime/cosplay thing myself, though I got comics/costumes and steampunk to replace it.

Yeah, but A.C. Moore is smaller and I know more about what things the place sells. People ask me where things are or what they should use for something and end up getting a blank stare from me. ;.; The main thing I want is to be able to help around the store when there aren't any customers waiting to be checked out. At Lowe's, I have to stand still at the end of the register and wait... which can be hours. =/

I'm currently working on a Freya (FFIX - Amano) costume, Nadia, and Harle (Chrono Cross). And I understand the whole growing out of anime cosplay. Lately I've been wanting to do weird original designs of things like Fae-folk (that aren't just girls in dresses with wings on their back), Alice in Wonderland, Teletubbies (yes... you read correctly), and Pokemon... but no one wants to join me. ;.; I love designing original costumes and I'd like to do it more.
