Stayed up all last night finishing it then today I gave a presentation in my Women's Studies class on Women in Comics. I swear I didn't stop talking from the start to the end, fifteen minutes straight. My throat was dry and sore when it was over but I was happy with it. My teacher said she enjoyed it until near the end when I brought up the topic of 'Women in Refrigerators' and Stephanie Brown, I told her no one really likes that but it's there. *shrug*
I hope I got an A, I think I was the only person to not read their entire report off a sheet of paper/powerpoint. I did a powerpoint with mostly pictures and just spoke about what I knew going through the different 'ages' of comics and the female character's places in each. People seemed amused when I mentioned the lesbian subtext of Wonder Women/Seducation of the Innocent with this panel on the screen:
