I was sick and miserable last night, still am a little bit, so everything I drew was looking rather crappy. Six tossed aside pages later I decided to write a little so, a small tidbit of that...

"There was moaning and panting and quick hasty breathes. Drops of sweat formed into imperfect spheres only to break and roll down overheated skin. It was the final stretch. A sharp intake of air exhaulted in a scream. Near silence follows only broken by heavy breathing and a wet noise.

A high pitched cry fills the air.

Hasuma Aki was born in the early autumn months toward the end of the Azuchi-Momoyama Period. No one cared much to write down the exact date."

Between that and the fourth page of the Wonder Woman preview, it's no wonder I had a horrifying dream about getting pregnant. *shudders* Not cool brain, not cool. That said, I'm off to work, going to beg Amanda to make a peach slush for me the way she makes them as they are delish and should help my sore throat.

I guess it could be called a writing exercise of sorts though really I did it just because I was bored witless, felt the need to write, and this came out. Could be counted as original fiction I suppose though it earns me more joy to call it 'chess fanfiction'.

The first  is from the viewpoint of a black rook and the second is in third person focusing mainly on the White Queen. Both are entirely different games and possibly even entirely different sets. Any opinions/critiques would be greatly loved.

'March of the White Queen' )
'To conquer thy enemy' )
