*le sigh* The joy of getting to read another Gargoyles-title so soon. ^.^

Anywho....

**SPOILERS**
First of all, the art. Is it just me or it's either getting better or simply growing on me. Though I'm not exactly going to go back and examine each panel from my inital impression it was fairly pleasing to the eye. Especially Macbeth's expression on pg5, panel 3, it's adorable? Yes, adorable. I never thought I'd be putting that word in the same sentence as that name but it's really the best way to describe it and seeing as he's attempting to appeal to Goliath's better nature at that moment it kind of works.

Now for the story itself. As someone who for some inate reason can easily enough write a story that jumps around on the timeline I have serious issues following one that does, so for the first few pages I had to re-read it a couple times and mentally establish all that was happening and when it was happening before I could read on. A bit frustrating for me though I'm sure it wasn't an issue for everyone so I'll accept it. That said...

My, this was quite good. Loved the brief parts with Thailog and Shari. "... though who can say if it be true..." and how Thailog in each page was basically ignoring her and going about his bussiness or mindlessly listening while she talked. Though as I read I was finally reminded who Shari's design and, on a lesser level, her mannerisms thus far remind me of. Death. Yet, part of me just wants to mark this up to my re-reading of the whole Sandman series recently. Hmmm... anywho...

With the Manhattan clan and Macbeth story I was mildy confused with the whole 'Let's have most the clan go to Scotland!' followed quickly by the 'Oh, nevermind. Only two will go to Scotland, the old one and the smallest one.'  Maybe confused isn't the best word though it was a fast enough 180 that it seemed rather wordy/pointless to begin on the inital thought of them all going. The Goliath/Elisa moment was sweet and a good step in cementing their relationship. ((okay, I admit a 'wonky'-art moment with Elisa there)). Also it was good to see once more just how 'not scary' Lexington is in stone. Along those lines, cement and stone, the jetlag thing was priceless.

So much happened in this issue it's hard to go over it all. Let's see... Maggie's pregnant. Actually saw that coming, if not now sometime in the future what with the whole 'birds and bees' thing it was bound to happen, right? Being only ever slightly interested in the whole Coyote thing I really have nothing much to say of it. So moving along...

I seriously cursed myself out when I went to open this issue and accidently saw the last page first, granted that made me more eager to read the story behind it, but it wasn't quite the same. So, we have the London Clan appearing once more. Liked character designs on those two and with this being the first clan, outside their own, these two have seen since awakening I wonder if there's a possibility of Lex finding a mate among them.
