Last week, for the second time since I graduated, the school had a serious bomb threat against it, only this time they actually found bombs in the kid's home. Also, apparently, there was a second kid arrested the other day in connection to it. Wtf. Not cool... Especially in that the dick was planning it to 'celebrate' the 10th anniversary of Columbine, also making it only three days after the second anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings.
I know he's supposedly messed up though I'd still want to smack him upside the head for even coming close to harming anyone in that school. My little brother still has three years until he graduates there.

I grew up in CO and lived very close to Littleton. My cousin, Sean Graves, was shot during Columbine.
My best friends little sister was in the cafeteria (she is physically ok...emotionally...well...yeah).
I am so glad that they found out about this kid before hand.
I am glad that your brother is ok and I hope they can get that kid lots and lots of help.
School shootings are so horrible. :(

Yeah... school shootings/bomb threats/fights/whatever just really suck. People that there to learn and possibly socialize, not to be placed in danger.

Agreed. It is sad, and probably has a lot to do with the fact that I worked in law enforcement for quite a few years, but now when I am in a classroom, I look for my exits and plan what I would do if this happened. Then I think "Damn...has it come to this?"

I used to say that nothing surprises me anymore, but this... wow.
I'm so glad they found the bombs before they could be planted in the school. I'd like to smack him around a bit myself. And put my foot up his ass.
