Today was a pretty good day in school. I have a it of work to do because of it though it feels nice to actually be doing something productive with my time.
Drawing III- We drew with feathers with pieces of silver on the guesso-covered matte boards we prepped last class. I couldn't choose just one feather so I picked three and put them together. While I'll probably work on it a little more tommorrow(getting some sleep between to wash it from my mind) everyone who saw it seemed impressed enough. Next class is animal skulls in silverpoint. Definately want to get there early and snag a great seat since the last class I did with skulls involved I was late and got a horrific angle to work on it...
Art History I- Lol. I about died by the third time the teacher stood to use herself as a model for this pose.
Visual Art Foundations- By then the fact that I'd actually slept last night caught up with me and I was fully awake/a bit hyper. By this point I'd also obtained four bandages on me throughout the day due to various accidents(one, ironically enough, was obtained from cutting up a bandage with an Exacto knife, smooth) so I was hyper and a little bloody. Throw in that the class was dedicated to painting, cutting, and pasting things and I was like a someone a fourth of my age. Oh well, I got this one girl to smile at my enthusiasm and that was good for me.
Communication Design I- Nothing much, just looking at a bunch of different types of ad layouts and how they're typically used. Can't wait to start doing out own stuff.
