Someone, please tell me what a bad idea it would be to try and pick apart Themyscira and it's origins(along with Wondy's to some degree) based on the art depicted there. I don't have time. *ponders* Though I'm sure Rhonda would like it should I do it and show it to... NO! Don't, bad idea. Your too busy.

Terrible idea, and you're going to use up the time that you need for other work.
(Was that ok?) ;)

Wait, sorry, you wanted to not get into it. Sorry. >.> Uh, waste of time and silly overinvestment in a comic book! So there!

For the rest, the origins of the architecture is weird. The Greeks didn't really get into the arched doorways and they only really built stadiums that could be put into nature itself(like on hillsides since they didn't grasp the arch and couldn't create the structural support needed without it). So their Colosseum is Roman or Etruscan based(most likely Roman). For the statues I'd have to look up scans showing some though it'd all be no earlier than late classical since the ones I remember are standing like actual people(though they're also Roman influenced since the male god statues are clothed, I suppose I'd have to ignore that it's because it's being censored).
I also have to say it's weird that after so long they don't expand more, not so much in architecture as that's there to stay though in paintings on walls or a wider show of sculpture. I mean sure the island has kind of been destroyed a bit though when Diana first left they'd been alone long enough to develop their own style or at least have taken on the intricacy of the Hellenistic period. Even a society focusing on it's skills in battle can develop in the arts. In short I want pot paintings/murals of Kangas, damn it.
...Okay, trying to stop now. Not worth it, pointless and all that.
