What I got: Countdown 32, Birds of Prey #110, JLA Hitman, Countdown to Mystery: Dr. Fate & Eclipso, Madame Mirage #2(from a bit back but whatever). Not too much this week, going to Trilogy between my Woman's Studies class & Statistics class so there will be more then.

Wow. This week's Countdown was actually alright. This first one in a while really. With my mixed feelings over the wedding I found this tie in cute. Adored the motherly tone reappearing in Wonder Woman as she admonishes Kara & Cassie for attempting to sneak alcohol. Was hilarious with Trickster & Piper accidentally busting in, unnoticed, on the bachlorette party. Yes, I think they overplayed the humor of the party but I was alright with that. The non-party parts were okay as well, not as sucky as the past few weeks. Keep pushing in this direction Countdown and I might forgive thee... maybe.

*love* *joy* Birds of Prey you rarely fail me. Sure it was a filler that did nothing to push any story forward but it was nice. It was a story that stood on it's own and I enjoyed it. Dislike this lack of follow through on the dying gods thing though. *ponders* Without the events of 109, it's fantasmic and nice. If you try and put it in a storyline, something BOP rarely follows anymore anyways, it's confusing. *shrug* I still enjoyed it. Though in the air of logic when she busted onto the bus that was an iffy move as the kids could have easily been hurt. The end was nice though in how it tied in the retelling of the stories. Good writing. A good break from everything else in DCU right now. 

JLA Hitman was pretty good(nice week so far). Another good Superman/Wonder Woman conversation(the other I mentioned being in the wedding special of the week). Hitman was amusing, especially with the whole marker in the bathroom bit. I have so many things I like about this it's just easier to give it an overal: GO BUY THIS!!! memo. <---so there it is. obey. ;p


Going to read the other two with the stuff I get tommorrow so until then... 

P.S. Loving Wonder Woman this week, sans the crappy job on her costume(i.e. the top is way too low) in the two page splash of the wedding she's just *grin*.
