A week, three days, and about six-eight hours ago I got my sternum pierced.
Now on to something else... Comic Talk( reviews, whatever).
I'm going to do take a shower/write my reflection paper for class tommorrow then, if I have time, I'll be back with my Batman, Hack/Slash, Teen Titan, and Xombie reviews. If I don't post them it's because I'm busy reading Sandman or drawing(I tend to draw better on little sleep so I take advantage of my insomnia when I can). *shrug*
The first few days it was good, alittle sore but good. Then the swelling stopped and it was okay. Now there's some sudden swelling around the openings and it really hurts to touch, though shifting the jewlery doesn't hurt in the least. This being my first surface piercing I'm unsure what this means. Part of me wants to freak out and go ask about infection, despite my caring for it. Another part of me just says to relax, I'm going in on Friday to get it checked and trimmed anyways, and all will be okay. I think I'm just going to stick with the second voice there. Taking votes on my next piercing assuming this one goes okay! Either belly button or hip bones ((I'd get an eryl though I can't have it at work))

Last week the next to last issue of Y: The Last Man came out. I'm faltering on my bet about Yorick's fate though without it I have no clue how it's going to end. In this issue all the conflict, for the most part, comes to a halt. The Beths, babies, and everyone else is safe. 355 is dead. Alter is deemed suicidal and asks Yorick to kill her. I'm not sure if he actually did it. I mean he hits her on the back of the head with the gun and given a proper amount of force that could either kill her or simply knock her out, no clue which it was. The end of the comic comes with all our heros free, excepting the dead, and reuniting. By all our heros I mean the Beths, Ciba, Yorick, Sylvia, the babies, and Ampersand. I have no clue how this will end. I like that, though I hope it's good.
Another thing I read recently was the Crime Bible: Five Lessons of Blood #1. It was okay. I mean I like the overal feel to it though I'm not too drawn in to be concerned about where the story's going. Though this is basically how I always read Rucka's work, with feigned interest at first and rampant attention later. I know it'll get better so I'll continue to read it, simple as that.
After reading JSA #10, it's not hard to feel bad for this Supes. He's a good guy, and everyone's hating/distrustful of him. That's it! Their all acting like Batman, ftw. The whole time they talked outside the room I was seriously waiting for someone to remember that he could hear them, I mean sheesh for a group of people familar with the Kryptonians you'd think they'd have more common sense than that. Poor writing, I should think, more than anything despite the 'humor' of this eventual realization. Overal I don't have many thoughts on this issue as there wasn't much accomplished. Yes, we established that this is the future/alt. Supes and such though I don't think that as much of an accomplishment for a whole issue.
