* Looking back, unless they just didn't mention someone, Azula was the first female child born to the Royal Family since pre-Sozin. I mean you have Sozin(assumed only child) who had one son, Azulon. Azulon then had two sons, Iroh and Ozai. Iroh had a son, Lu Ten who died, and Ozai had Zuko and Azula. I only realised when thinking over how most people assume the Fire Nation is as 'males are better' as the Northern Water Tribe. I don't think they are in the least.

* What the hell do most of the bad guys in Scooby Doo get charged with? I mean there are a couple of them that are just dressing up and scaring people away from something. So what... tresspassing? I'm sure those 'meddling kids' were doing the same damn thing, hell they do it more than some of the 'criminals' since a couple of the people are just haunting a place they already have access to. Why the hell have I been thinking about this?

* Today's 'Debate Thursday' topic for sf_d rocked, mainly because it allowed me to express my design idea for a prison for evil vampires in MS Paint...

1) I think that she WAS the first female to be born to the fire lord's family, at least in the Lineage they mention. And they can't be Male Dominated like the Water tribe because Azula was attempting to be the Fire Lord for a bit and there was no outcry over it even hinted at.
2) Drunk and disorderly? Improper usage of foliage? Impersonating the undead? Usually they were also up to some other illegal activity (attempting to scare people off so they can look for a hidden treasure, etc) so that was probably the main charge listed on the arrest warrant. I wonder how much time they served, and I would LOVE to see a gang-up episode where all the baddies they got in the past teamed up and wiped the floor with Scooby and friends.

Yeah, that brings up a good question. Why the fuck were these geniuses of illusion and scare tactics just fucking with some kids. Why didn't they kill them and get away with it? Why wasn't the government using them for more sinister things?

The questions you raise about Scoobie Doo are the same questions I always ask about Law and Order and CSI. They rarely ever have evidence that a jury is going to see as conclusive, and if they don't show the actual trial, it's just supposed to be implied that the person committed the crime and a jury will believe it. Also, people don't admit to it like that in real life. Shit. No one would be charged for 80% of those crimes.

And that really is an interesting chain of thoughts on the Scooby villains, they really aren't much of a villain in most cases although there were a few cases that were thieves or covering up a murder or something to that effect if I remember correctly (It has been years!)
