Well, I didn't get the job. It wouldn't feel as bad as if they'd sent me a message right away so I didn't cling to false hope. *makes a reminder to self as to why such hope is rarely good* It would have been a great job and would have likely done a lot of good for me(would have been able to better afford to move, steady income, set hours and benefits). I thought the interview went pretty well but... I guess not. Oh well... *mopes a little*

That sucks, but now-a-days there are a lot of totally qualified people getting turned away. That's a huge reason why I re-enlisted. :/

Given all my job woes over the last two/three years and how much harder it is to get a job everytime some stupid problem leaves me without, I'm almost considering taking a serious look at the military. :\

It's really not bad, it's only 1% combat and weapons. It'll probably get lower with Prez Obama too. If you do, get a guaranteed job, don't go in as "open general" unless you don't mind being a cop or construction.
