...oh my?
Corny opening, I know, and on another 'life-related' post. *whacks self* Bad GGK!
Anywho, today I went to the zoo with my sister. First we cleaned out the debris in the kudu cage and chatted. Then we got to go see the tigers, really close up, before we cleaned out the their cages. Next we saw the lions being fed. The cubs are now 6 months old and 80lb. each. So cute. After eating we went and stood in the rhino/zebra yard while the lions where let into their yard. The female cub was completely adorable as she mimicked her mother and, later, attacking her brother. After that we cleaned out the lion cages and hung out, petting the rhino and zebra. Then came the hard work. 25 50lb bags of pellets. We loaded them up using an assembly line type approach. It was hard and I almost fell a few times though in all it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately when we were unloading them I got placed next to the other light-weight of the group and between the two of us and some comments that lead us to laugh I was done for. 50lb bag thrust into my arms... 150lb of human & pellets come crashing to the ground in a giggling fit from the first of the two. ;p
Afterwards we went to this burrito place that had vegan friendly stuffs(mentioned for it's pertinence to my interests) and chowed down. Damn that burrito was a lot of food, 1/3 of mine is now sitting in the ice box, though hella good. ^.^
I'm now back at home, feeling rather tired, and most likely going to take a nap. *yawn*
