Maple Story

Last night I, for some reason beyond what I can comprehend... I started playing Maple Story.
It's pretty fun.

Here's me sitting on my chair catching up on some HP.
I got to level 9, almost to 10 when something amusing came up at the bottom of the screen.

Now I haven't played online games in this format in a bit(aside from some small bouts on Second Life) but this was new to me. Oddly I took the suggestion, despite having not actually been on the full 4 hours but taking breaks whenever my character needed some time to heal.
It's a bit addicting.
I'm trying to decide between a warrior career or theif career.
If anyone ever wants to form a party and play just leave a message or something.

Attention: Idiot...

Today I was in the bookstore browsing when my ears picked up the rather loud conversation going on behind me. Now don't think of me as easedropping as I would have loved nothing more in the world than to shut out the offensive noise yet I was not allowed this and so...
The cast:
Me: Me
LI: Loud Idiot
LIF: Loud Idiot's Friend

LIF: Why not this book?
LI: I don't know. I really don't like to read much. I doesn't have alot of big words does it? I hate books with big words.
Me: ((then why the hell are you in a bookstore...))
LI: I mean this one time I read Frankenstein... Well I didn't actually read it. I read the cliffnotes. I tried to read it but all the big words. I just couldn't understand it!
Me: ((my freakin' little sister is reading that for school...))
LI: I mean why couldn't they just write with smaller words. So it's easier to understand... Who was it that wrote that again?
LIF: Uh...
LI: It was Anne-something...
Me: ((your kidding me...))
LI: Anne Frank! Yeah, it was Anne Frank wasn't it? That wrote Frankenstein...
Me: ((enough of this...)) *turns around slightly towards LI* It was Mary Shelley.
LI & LIF: *stunned silence followed by them leaving the row*

If my butting into conversations leads to such results again I might just have to do it more often. ^.^
