Thank you for restoring my faith DC. I enjoyed this week's stuff so far. Sure Countdown still pretty much sucks and just gave us what we already knew. Warrior in the funny mask is Harley Quinn? [sarcasm]*le gasp*[/sarcasm] The rouges plan to basg the Green Arrow/Black Canary wedding?! No shit. Sure the thing that happened with Olsen was different though I personally was waiting for his head to explode. Oh well, can't have everything you want. Overal rating: 2.75/5
The Black Canary Wedding Planner was pretty much what it was expected to be. A light and amusing lead up to the actual wedding. Anything OOC could be forgiven because it's not meant to be too serious, though I do think everyone acted as is expected. Main thoughts: Takeshi's Wedding Castle?! Wonder if that's anything like Takeshi's Castle(youtube it if you don't know) "Maid Marian" Package? LMAO. Awww... chibi Dinah & Ollie. With the no fish(mentioned by Babs) & no fowl options on the menu they really didn't have much a choice, ne? Blah, the wedding dress they showed Dinah in was ugly, IMHO. Good use of past instances in the mention of Ollie perfering to NOT honeymoon on a tropical island. Diana trying on the lingerie was hilarious, even if I think the artist missed on her face. Oh and love what Dinah chose, though you'd be hard fetched to find something like that in a lingerie shop without customization. Overal rating: 4/5
Moving on... Y:The Last Man NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! WHY?! Bastards. Fuck. I understand the mentality of 'It's near the end so fuck it' but WHY?! I actually got alittle teary eyed and had to force myself to not stand up in the coffee shop and start ranting about it. I mean damn. I was pissed/upset. No, I'm not going to tell you what 'it' is. No spoilers on this one. Read it and be pissed with me. Damn. On a lighter note Beth Jr. is so damn cute. Heh. Adorable... *goes off the find a dark corner to sulk in* mew.
I still have Infinity Inc. #1 & Metal Men #2 to read along with whatever I get from a trip to Trilogy either later today or Saturday. On a non-comic related note: Kim Possible season finale tommorrow(Friday) night at 8pm!
